• All extra work requested by yourselves WILL incur an extra cost and our CVI book signed and dated by yourselves or agreed via email.
• Timber products are a natural product therefore in some circumstances they may develops shakes of split
• Any changes to the specification WILL incur an extra cost
• Materials are the property of the GK Wilson until final payment made
• Surfaces may become slippy when wet or icy. GK Wilson carries no responsibility for this
• Materials may only be purchased in full pallets therefore leaving surplus. Which is the property of G.K. Wilson
• Should issues arise they will be dealt with by myself or my foreman
• Company Health & Safety policy available along with all insurances
• Staged payments are required weekly and full payment upon completion and client satisfaction
• Bank transfer or cheque preferable means of payment
• Full payment upon job completion
• One point of contact is preferred for regular briefings
• Clients mustn't walk on paving until the mortar has set as this will result in relaying of paving and an extra cost
• Freshly laid turf will need daily watering (in hot weather constant watering) by the client after we leave site
• Plants, trees and shrubs will need watering daily after we leave site for up to 3 months, weather depending.
• It is very important and the sole responsibility of the Client to ensure we are made aware of any special/statutory bylaws/conditions/permissions that may be involved.
• Our skips are for soil and hardcore only. We cannot provide facility to remove plastics unless the client provides an extra cost for a mixed waste skip/disposal
• Severe weather conditions, including drought, may cause the delay of visits but this will not affect the original, agreed price
• Hidden drains covers will not have been accounted for in the quote and will incur an extra cost
• If the client instructs ourselves to carry out further work this will increase the duration time of the project. Larger additional projects may need to be carried out at a later date as other clients will be expecting us.
• Adverse weather conditions may affect start dates and the duration of the project in general
• GK Wilson are registered waste carriers
• The client warrants the site is free of underground problems including pipes, cables, Stumps, sewage drains and waste materials. Where problems are found underground the contractor shall be entitled to charge for additional work necessary and properly executed by the contractor to complete the work. The contractor shall be free from any liabilities (including structural or accidental) when using machinery, except for accidents caused by its improper use.
